Pro-Access (DaBoom) - We are looking into producing all our reports from CS/3 using Pro-Access. Is it cost effective ?, Do the users get what they want from the product?.

The product is a very powerful and visual product to use, with the ability to link tables from several modules more easily than the SES Report Writer. Many ISTUG members use this product very effectively. Cost is in the order of a standard SES module and training to achieve acceptable results is quick and simple for the none computer literate. There are alternatives, Sage Enterprise is now shipped with Crystal Reports, and Crystal Reports could well be bundled with the next release of CS/3. Crystal Reports is also a very visual tool, and will achieve the same as Pro-Access, and if shipped with the product is free.
