VI Software

VI Software has been developing complementary software linking to the Sage Enterprise (previously Tetra) range of integrated applications software since 1990.
Our complementary add-on modules are fully integrated with the standard Sage Enterprise products and since they are developed using the same technology they have a look-and-feel consistent with the standard product. We are also able to develop bespoke software to meet an end-user’s specific requirements and are able to make modifications to the standard product source code.
Our development team have over 40 man years experience of development around the Sage Enterprise products and in addition we have personnel who are responsible for systems analysis, specification, QA and implementation with ‘real-world’ commercial experience who have been Sage Enterprise users themselves.
Our expertise is across the whole spectrum of Sage Enterprise applications software including Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, Project Control and Payroll as well as specialist areas such as EDI.

Enquiries 
Providing access to the data stored in any Sage Enterprise system is crucial in providing users and managers with the information required to run their business. Whilst Sage Enterprise provides a wide range of on-screen enquiries these are often fragmented around the system and the modular nature of the product means that there are few enquiries that draw data from different modules. The VI Enquiries module allows enquiries to be built using data from any of the tables within the system with the ability to drill-down to multiple levels and standard Sage Enterprise enquiries.

Personnel 
The VI Personnel module manages the full cycle of employment, from the recruitment of new employees, through their development as employees to the archiving of leavers. It allows the Personnel Department to build up a history of events for individual employees held within the Sage Enterprise Payroll module, to record additional personal details and to create diary reminders for follow-up action. Personnel data can often be of a sensitive nature and thus a number of security features have been incorporated to maintain the integrity of the personnel data. 

CIS/Subcontractors
The VI Subcontractors/CIS module is the first of our modules addressing the requirements of the construction and contracting industries. The module handles the processing of subcontractors’ applications, payment certificates and payments and covers the requirements of the CIS legislation from the registration of subcontractor certification details to the production of year-end CIS36 forms.

Cash Flow 
Effective cash management depends on having the necessary information for making informed financial decisions. The VI Cash Flow Forecasting module provides financial managers with the tools to not only view a company’s current and future cash position but also to manipulate payment dates in order to project various ‘what-if’ scenarios. Using Cash Flow Forecasting provides a powerful yet easy method of analysing your company’s cash resources.
