SES PRODUCT MARKETING UPDATE Justin Healey - Head of Research and Development at SES, presented this session of our June 2002 meeting. We were sad to learn that Andy Birch who had previously delivered these sessions had decided to leave SES.Details of the release dates for Sage Line 200/500
issued so far, along with details of the new features can be seen using
the following hyperlinks. Work is now progressing on Sage Line 200/500 version 6.0 Any company who would be willing to act as a Beta test site for future product releases should contact Justin Healey at Sage Winnersh, email justin.healey@sage.com or ISTUG - details of contact points can be found on our web site at www.istug.com An update of the Minor Business Enhancement (MBE) programme was given by Justin Healey during his presentation on the Road Map. Our MBE status list in the Members Club has been updated accordingly. View the current online listing. The list now defines at which point MBEs were delivered with the product, most of the early MBEs selected from ISTUG voting were delivered with V4.0. SES have now defined they will not in future deliver MBEs between product releases, this should make it easier for all concerned to know at which point they were incorporated into the product. We have asked that the quarterly voting process should continue to give SES development sufficient time to review voting results and deliver selected MBEs for the next release. This is what Technology Blocks is aiming to deliver, we have done all the research, gathered together all the related information into a common technology block, and giving, online views of user stories, product links to presentations, web sites, points of contact, and ISTUG member reference sites. We have to date placed in the Members Club web site the following technology blocks:- We are currently working on BACS, Ancillary Tools, Construction Industry Tools. If you are willing to act as a reference site for any of the products defined in our technology blocks, we would like to hear from you. If you have a user story relating to the use of any of the products we would like to receive it, and include it as an online view. You need to be a fully paid up member of ISTUG to access the breadth of online data and information - some of our members who failed to pay their bills by the 30 day deadline recently found themselves automatically locked out.

They are able to match the skill needs of resellers, and companies for both full time and short term requirements anywhere in the country. If you are a company looking for staff with the right skills, or you have just been made redundant and are looking for a new placement - this could be a useful place to start.
